I appreciate that Talekyn, as well as your unfailing grace when speaking of my reviews. Not much else I can do against the rest of these "edumicated" artistic literate types, spouting their obscure quotes about artists and antique fragments and all that other stuff and going on about artistic nuances. I'm just a simple country Doctor, you know. :) The "your mileage may vary" is put in there mainly because I realize at times that my likes/dislikes are strictly personal (again, not being an artist I am not qualified to go on about style, technique, etc) and so people deserve to know that. I don't profess to speak from a position of authority, and definitely don't want to be taken as such.

And for the record - I also like Alan Parsons, and Orson Welles' voice (although more from The Shadow than anything else).

I continue to love how honest you are about what doesn't work for you and why, and how you make sure people know that "their mileage may vary," so to speak. What really made you uncomfortable about this strip -- that deep look into someone's fears and psychoses -- is really exactly the kind of thing I end up enjoying. I find it helps me process my own "issues," although I know that doesn't work for everyone.

Much as I like Tom Baker as the Doctor, I am convinced he's a nutter, so I'm not surprised.

And I can handle surreal - just not as much as was in this particular work.

And I don't follow your line of humor at all, so I guess I'm in the minority here.

There I was thinking it an overstatement! I once read that Tom Baker (dear old lovey) had/has quite an obsession with the old process at the back end (I think we're all doing terribly well avoiding the S word here don't you?) so I would have thought you might be on-side with this one. We have a 'back end' at my workplace and I'm always looking up it apparently. It does require a standard issue British mentality to be continually focussing on the back end. I thought we had that attitude fairly well quarantined - maybe not as well as I thought.

Usually it's all the rest of you siding together against me, so just take your lumps, Mister. :)

"Alone again, naturally," is the theme music of the week for the ol' Doc and his review! :)
